Already recording episodes of our UK wide restaurant and fine dining podcast, the very first of it’s kind in the UK where a show doesn’t just visit a location and review a dish or a eatery but actually talks to the individual management, staff and customers, to explore the drive and the ambition behind the food, to record the ambience of a busy kitchen and to listen to the people who consume the varied and exciting dishes that reach the paying customer.

Your Next Escape – The Podcast

In early 2025 we were approached by a major hotel chain to record a podcast series for them, and the mathematics and the logistics did not pass muster without breaking our core structures around how we create and syndicate content. It did, however, lead to an exercise talking to hotel owners in Canterbury, Bath and Bristol about what was missing in the marketplace regarding a product that could reach end user listeners, potential customers, and to help drive both bookings and long-term revenue. Out of that was born Your Next Escape which is a podcast with a difference. It differs massively from our other offerings as it is a lot more work out the box to plan, produce and record, and often we will record hours of audio with different staff members, front of house, catering, housekeeping, spa managers and customers as well as owners and operators. We then, using the many years of experience, put together edited blended versions of that audio into a fifteen minute or a thirty minute podcast featuring that hotel. We workshopped the creation of a five minute model and it doesn’t work or scale and it just doesn’t work. But one show featuring two hotels (taking a fifteen minute slot each) or one hotel featuring as sole venue as an entire thirty minute episode worked extremely well. Be under no illusion. For managers and operators this is hard work but creates an end product to be proud of that is always available on demand. This is much more than recording a show, with enhanced training and recording involved in the creation of both timeslots and a review period post recording prior to broadcast. Additionally we are able to do overnight reviews of venues (and charge a minimal charge for our time – also available in the store).

Talk to Tina in the first instance about how you can feature on an episode – or by taking a whole episode and doing your venue justice.

Booking slots are available in the store, our fifteen minute segments are £399 each or an entire show (thirty minutes duration) is priced at £799 Also available to book is our overnight room cost which affords us to do an overnight end to end review of the hotel or location, and covers our time for doing so at cost.

Where We Went Next – The Podcast

We love travelling. For more than a decade we’ve travelled the globe with a mobile recording studio. This show takes on from where our travelling for a living left off. We still spend our lives driving between locations recording sessions with customers, but now we have the wandering spirit once more. We now travel the length and breadth of the United Kingdom visiting villages and market towns, recording with the fantastic businesses and cottage industries there that often struggle to get attention across a wider marketplace. Our goal ? To increase their footprint, to increase awareness of their products and ambition and to get them on the map.

Where We Went Next is part of the LocalCast series of podcasts we are starting to record after Easter in 2025 launching in May and June. We will be recording across the UK and each show consists of six or seven recordings in a town to get that town on the map. We spend ten minutes preparing you for the recording and we then hit record and you’re in the can. Your business, your products, your people with minimal editing. It’s a fun experience but it’s massively beneficial to you and your future revenue, it extends way further than a print advertisement ever can – and it’s a simple £169 recording fee and you can book your slot online here.

If You Go Down To The Farm Today – The Podcast

Farms across the United Kingdom since the mid 1980s have started to diversify away from just being producers of crops and product or meat for the food chain. A need to grow their revenue streams, be independent and to be able to plan financially, as well as to create secure employment for staff (who are often family). Over the last twelve years farm shops have exploded on the scene as more than just a place to buy a sack of Maris Piper potatoes or PYO strawberries but with deliberate marketing of products across every conceivable area of rural marketing and more. Add in the number who now have on-site dining facilities, or petting farms for young families, who even cater for weddings and special occasions. Their own specialist butchers, baker or a fishmonger on site, a florist, we’ve even seen upholsterers repairing vintage Chesterfield armchairs at one amazing location.

And the one thing they all have in common ? There is not one single podcast in the UK focused on farm shops, their founders and creators or shining a light on what they have created.

We thought it was time we fixed that. So we are building out a show across the UK that travels with microphones and records the ambient sounds and the happy folk that pass through these amazing locations. We talk to the vendors, we talk to the customers and we put it out on demand to a listening world.

Because nobody has ever invested the time to consider why it’s overdue it happened. Like “Your Next Escape”, this is a fair degree more work than a normal session and involves planning and basic training with those who will be recording as well as post recording review prior to broadcast.

Pricing is available in the store, in the meantime Tina is available to field queries and we have a fantastic booklet you can read about the show available for download here.

Ten minute broadcast slots start at £299 and the more popular choice is a venue taking an entire twenty five minute entire show at £599

Folkestone – The Real Light At The End Of The Tunnel

This is a podcast that is part of our 2025/26 LocalCast productions. It talks to the people at the very heart of the coastal town of Folkestone, once a Victorian and Edwardian town that attracted people from London and all over the South East to take it it’s finery and it’s seaside location. In the 1990s decimated and sidelined by the arrival of the Channel Tunnel which all but destroyed the soul of the town. Thirty years on the town is reborn and recreated, with new found optimism, investment from Folkestone born Roger De Haan, new residential developments to rival the French Riviera. And a host of businesses, restaurants, brands and startups that are breathing new life into a town that is reborn.

We talk to those businesses and tell the story of a town that has risen again, and that regularly features in the UK press as one of the most desired locations to relocate to or visit. This show is recorded independently by our Shepway franchise owned and operated by Dan File from Folkestone who is passionate about delivering the best experience possible. You can find his direct contact number in the leaflet for the show.

Broadcast recording slots are available on the store, £199 for a five minute produced broadcast slot or £299 for a ten minute slot. Want more info ? Contact Dan File directly via email.
